Jessica + Eric @ Perona Farms NJ

Hey Guys! first wedding of the year in the books, thanks some new editing tools and the initial boost of the start of a new season i was able to finish off this wedding in a week! super happy! It didn’t hurt that it was a very fun one to edit with lots of cool shots of a very fun and beautiful group! Jess + Eric chose to tie the knot @ Perona Farms in New Jersey, had a very rustic vibe to it which i loved! and guess what! they had a naked wedding cake which I’m a sucker for! a week before the wedding we got hit pretty hard with almost 2 feet of snow, but then had some warm weather and we were left with just enough snow to paint a pretty backdrop for our portraits! any who, Ill write up some more details later, at this point I’m just eager to show these off, so hope you guys enjoy!

Wedding : Rona + Kivanc – Hopewell Valley Vineyards

Meet Rona + Kivanc. Our client/photographer relationship started as most of our relationships do, an email inquiry from them, a response from us. What made this relationship a bit different is that Rona and Kivanc don’t live in the US as most of our clients do, they live in Europe! Yeah, super cool. So while we couldn’t set up our usual Starbucks coffee date for our first meeting, we set up a short phone conference and the rest was history. We actually met Rona and Kivanc for the first time on their wedding day, but truth be told, it felt like we knew them for a long time, which was great, because it made working with them so easy. Rona + Kivanc’s wedding took place in beautiful Hopewell Valley Vineyards, about an hour from the city. Their reception was held under a gorgeous lighted tent and showcased truly unique details like empty tea containers in addition to the traditional vases for flowers, to the most beautiful non-traditional bridesmaids dresses we’ve EVER seen. These details really set their wedding apart in a very special way. One of my favorite things about this wedding was the guest list! Their guest really flew from all parts of the country to celebrate their special day. Rona and Kivanc also used our photobooth for their wedding and, well yeah.. that was a blast!

We want to Thank Rona + Kivanc for having us along to document their special day! Your wedding was truly beautiful and we enjoyed every bit of it! We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!

Wedding : Lauren + Joe @ Meadow Wood Manor

And it happened. Lauren and Joe’s special day happened. I make a big deal about that because I remember thinking their wedding day was so far away! We met Lauren and Joe well over a year away from their wedding date and I remember emailing Lauren throughout the year with some sort of crazy countdown. Lauren and Joe’s wedding was one of the most fun weddings we’ve been to this year. I think a big part of that is because Lauren and Joe are simply fun, fun people! (Don’t believe me? See for yoursef!) as are their families and friends. They are the type of people who make your job as a photographer insanely easy because they just give you the shots you want. You know, the ones where they are being themselves, completely engrossed in their conversation, their own little private joke, each other and sort of forget you exist? Yeah. Thanks for that guys! They were blessed with a nearly perfect autumn day which made for pretty amazing pictures.

Thank you Lauren + Joe for allowing us to be a part of your wonderful day! We wish you both a lifetime of happiness and endless fun moments!

Wedding : Alicia + Harry @ The Venetian Garfield, NJ

Hello world!

Remember this lovely couple’s engagement shoot Well, they have officially been husband + wife for a little over a month now!

Alicia + Harry tied the knot on Saturday, May 18th at The Venetian in Garfield, New Jersey. We met up with Alicia and her family at around 10:00AM, while they were getting ready for the big day. Alicia is the most self- sufficient bride EVER… She did her own make-up which was oh so gorgeous! and mom did her hair. Her sister’s also did their own make-up and hair…. talk about a talented group of gals? Mom’s been in the make-up business for years and these girls were taught early. Speaking of talent…one Alicia’s sister’s created a lovely personalized hanger where Alicia’s incredibly dreamy dress was hung. Oh and in the topic of “dreamy dresses” — can we talk about that perfect creation of a dress? I loved her dress and my friend’s friends loved the dress. Alicia could not have worn it more beautifully.

The room was what you could expect… lots of running around from one side to the other. Every possible electrical outlet being occupied by either a hair tool or a cell phone charging, every mirror displaying the reflection of someone applying make-up or fixing up their tie, but there was such an overwhelming feeling of joy, anticipation and excitement! Alicia must’ve asked for the time 784734738 times! But I’m beginning to think that’s the average for brides…lol.

The ceremony was incredibly beautiful and quite funny. Every guest was reminded of how Alicia + Harry the individuals, became Alicia + Harry the couple. We were taken back to the beginnings of their relationship with their college days at Penn State, to more present times where they’ve shared trips, stood by each other’s side through exciting milestones like Harry’s graduation from Harvard Law school, different careers and of course a home. Shortly after the ceremony, it was time to party and enjoy the day with friends and family.

Harry and Alicia’s day was filled with so much love and laughter. We really enjoyed being a part of their day and wish them a lifetime of happiness!
